This survey does give useful feedback to whether or not instructors are familiar with UDE. However, it doesn’t deeply evaluate their understanding of it and fails to get into any detail about aspects of UDE. Therefore, the results won’t show if instructors are truly knowledgeable about the topic or are adequately implementing it into their courses.

Disability is part of the natural diversity of human life. It touches all of us, whether through our own individual experience or that of a family member, neighbor, friend or colleague. As such, we all have a role in—and benefit to gain from—advancing equality for people with disabilities in all sectors of society, including the workplace.
